Timetable
June 25th equipment/food delivered for sea transport to Horizon Lines in Tacoma, WA
July 17th PM Operators arrive in Dutch Harbor, Alaska
July 18th Operators board "Miss Alyssa" or go to Dutch Harbor Airport for charter plane
depending on weather.
July 19-20th Operators arrive in Nikolski.
July 20th-21st Sail direct to Chuginadak Island. Weather and sea conditions permitting, we
should be at the island early Monday morning ~9AM.
July 21st Unload cargo onto the island and construct camp and station.
Most optimistic schedule: begin on-air operations around AM, July 22nd, Tuesday.
July 26 - July 27th IOTA Contest till 4AM local time
July 27th Tear down remove antennas and operating position.
July 27th Pack and load material on "Miss Alyssa".
Depart Chuginadak Island after loading/cleaning of our site.
July 27-28th Sail to Dutch Harbor. Depending on departure time and sea/weather
conditions,
July 28 AM Arrive at Dutch Harbor.
July 28th load equipment with Horizon Lines storage for transport via sea to Tacoma.
July 29th Flight to Anchorage to participate in Alaska Hamfest 2008, ARRL Alaska
Convention.
August 5th fly back to Seattle.
